This circa late 1940s or early 1950s Hawaiian tea timer cotton blouse or top by well-known Hawaii-based clothing maker Watumull’s has a traditional, abstract print in shades of brown and white. It has the classic tea timer elements: mandarin collar, cap sleeves, real bamboo buttons, patch pockets at the hips and side seam slits. Approximately hip length (or tunic length) these tops looks great over fitted capris—just add the fruity cocktails and steel guitar music for a tiki party on the vintage patio! In excellent condition, the blouse has just the faintest hint of yellowing from normal wear, inside the collar and on the label—hard to notice unless you look very carefully, and only visible from the inner side. Comfortable and versatile, this vintage Hawaiian blouse will be a great addition to your 1940s/50s casual wear collection!
