Description
An abstract print of aqua, black, and slate grey daisies covers the cotton fabric of this sexy 1950's halter-style sundress. The bodice of the dress is constructed by attaching panels of fabric to the front, shirred halter, which then wrap around on each side to form the back of the bodice, and tie in front like a wide sash. With the panels unwrapped and untied, the dress looks like a circle skirt with a halter front attached (see photo). The full skirt zips closed in back with a metal zipper, and is lined with a grey-trimmed, attached net crinoline. (It is shown here without any other, added crinoline.) The halter ties in back to adjust the length, and the bodice is not boned and is unlined, cinched in and shaped by the wrap at the waist. This darling sundress is in excellent to mint condition, with no noted flaws. It does have a very small waist, so please check the measurements carefully.
