Description
The black curly wool of this early 1960’s jacket mimics Persian lamb (but it is definitely wool, not fur). The cropped, boxy shape and just-below-the-elbow-length sleeves are totally 60’s, although this shape has seen new popularity recently too. It closes in front with large, black plastic buttons (one is scratched), and has black cord trim at the rounded collar, center front, and at the hem. The lining is black taffeta and the jacket is in very good to excellent condition, with no problems except the one scratched button. This versatile jacket can function as a piece of outerwear for fall, and later it can be worn with a skirt or pants as a suit jacket, when the temperatures drop.
