Description
This 1960's men's cardigan sweater-jacket is knit of medium-weight avocado green Italian wool with striking black trim. The sleeves and back section are done in finer-knit wool than the collar, cuffs and front sections. The cuffs, collar, button placket and patch pockets are all trimmed with a band of black. The front and sleeve buttons are covered in the green wool. Curving seams on the front of the sweater give it the look of a sporty jacket. This well-made, high quality sweater is in very good condition, with 3 small mends: on the back, near the middle left, one on the right side of the ribbed hem in back and another at the back of the right sleeve near the cuff (see photos). The mends are nicely done, and should be difficult to notice when the sweater is worn; the mend at the hem is the most visible. The sweater should fit approximately like a size medium, but please compare the measurements to a garment you already own for best fit.
