Description
Ivory knit wool is lavished decorated with bright yellow glass beadwork, tiny pearls and iridescent sequins on this 1960s evening sweater. It has a scoop neckline and elbow-length sleeves, with the edge of the curved sleeve hems, the neckline and the curved hem trimmed with a zig-zag row of beading and pearls. The hem has beaded fringe with pearls attached to each strand. The body of the sweater is totally covered with even more sequins, and scattered with large, three-dimensional, yellow beaded "flowers" with pearl bead centers. The sweater has a metal zipper closure in back and a somewhat boxy fit. The ivory silk lining has some yellowing at the neckline and the underarms, which was not removed by a recent dry-cleaning, but will not be visible when the sweater is worn. The sweater is in very good to excellent condition, with no other issues and amazing beading! Pair it with a simple skirt or wide leg pants for a wonderfully sparkly yet comfortable evening look.
