Description
This late 1970s evening dress has a sequin-covered tube top bodice attached to a lightweight crepe full-length skirt with ruffled trim. The tube top section is made of cotton (or cotton-blend), stretchy knit fabric underneath the black sequins and is gathered at the center front to create a "sweetheart" neckline. The skirt has a vertical ruffle on the left side from the waist to the hem and another ruffle all around the hem. It has an acetate lining, since the crepe fabric is semi-sheer. The dress closes with a metal zipper and a single hook and eye at the side seam. It may be homemade, as the sewing is not superb, but the dress it totally wearable and has no issues, other than being a bit amateurly-made. It is too large for our mannequin, and will look much better on a lady with more curves.
