Description
This black silk satin, high-crowned and narrow-brimmed cloche hat from the early 1920s has some lovely details! The front of the hat sports a shiny black feather spray and an amber Czech glass and brass oval decorative pin. A black net scarf is wrapped around the crown, covered with matching, tiny amber glass beads. The brim of the hat is wired at the outside edge. It is lined with amber silk satin, while the deep, rounded crown has a black silk lining. The hat is in very good condition, with a small area of wear to the edge of the brim on the back left side (see close-up photo). This lovely hat has no other issues and would be wearable with care, although with items of this age, I usually recommend display rather than wearing.
