Description
Mandarin orange—I mean really orange—makes this 1950’s dress a real eye-catcher. If the color wasn’t enough to get you noticed, the cute hand-painted hibiscus flowers on the bodice should do the trick! The fabric feels like a blend of linen or cotton and rayon. The cut is straight and narrow, with the tiniest cap sleeves, a back zipper and a kick pleat in the back for ease of walking. The dress has it’s original belt--always a plus—and is lined in white acetate. This dress appears unworn, in near mint condition, with only the slight crackling of the paint on the flower showing its actual age of about 60 years old. (We should all be so well preserved, when we’re 60!)
