Description
Channel your inner hippie/cowboy with this brown suede jacket from the 1960s. Long suede fringe decorates the diagonal front and back shoulder yokes, the seam at the back of the sleeves and the large patch pockets on the front of the jacket, as well as the hem. The jacket closes with 3 plastic "knot" buttons, 2 black and one brown (probably a replacement). The lining is a purple taffeta, which has some discoloration near the hem. The shape of the jacket is straight up and down, narrowing a bit from the chest to the hem. It is an extra small men's size that may also fit well on a small woman. (Please check the measurements for size details.) It has been worn and loved, and shows some evidence of wear: the discolored lining (as mentioned above), some broken strands of fringe, a dark spot at the front hem (hidden when the jacket is buttoned), and normal scuffs to the nap of the suede from wear. The row of fringe along the hem and on the left sleeve is a brighter brown with a reddish tinge, so it may have been replaced at some point; I do not believe it is faded, since the two sleeves are still matching shades of brown. While this groovy jacket is certainly not in perfect condition, it is totally wearable and very cool!
