"Take me out to the ballgame . . ." at truly vintage Wrigley Field, home of the ever-hopeful Chicago Cubs. This c. 1950's collectible compact by local Chicago-area accessories company Elgin American has the Cubs logo on the front in red, white and blue enamel. The gold tone metal of the compact shows some minor surface scratches, but inside it appears unused, with its original square puff. The mirror is in excellent condition, as is the hinged cover. It comes in its original purple felt protective sleeve. This would make a great gift for a lady Cubs fan, or for anyone who collects Cubs memorabilia.
