Description
The lightweight peachy coral tweed of this 60’s suit is the perfect weight for spring into summer. Double rows of topstitching define the small lapels and the decorative “pocket flaps.” The buttons are lovely, real shell, and the shoulders of the jacket are lightly padded for the boxy shape so popular in the early 1960’s (and again now). The jacket and skirt are both unlined. The skirt is slightly gathered at the waistband, which has been altered to make it larger. The alteration was nicely done, and is invisible when the jacket is worn, but it could be taken back in to the original size very easily, if your waist is tiny. This alteration is the only issue with the suit, which is in very good condition.
