Description
This 1960s cocktail dress and jacket set combines fantastic gold and copper metallic brocade fabric and a flattering silhouette to create an eye-catching look for an evening event. The dress is sleeveless, with a square neckline and wide straps trimmed with decorative gold metal and rhinestone buttons. It is fitted through the bodice and then flares from the waist to the hem in a classic 1960s A-line shape. Slit pockets are inserted into the princess seaming on the front of the dress. It closes with a plastic zipper in back and is fully lined. The matching, double-breasted, hip-length jacket is slightly boxy in fit, with three-quarter-length sleeves, a small collar and eight sparkling rhinestone buttons. The jacket is fully lined with silky beige acetate and has very slightly padded shoulders. Both pieces of this set are in excellent condition and it would be perfect for wearing to a holiday party.
