Description
This 1950's casual crocodile shoulder bag is a soft honey color, with a definite sheen to it. The horny scales from the back of the reptile have been placed on the center of the bag, giving it an interesting texture. The curved front flap fastens with a button and braided loop closure, and the braided leather hangs down below the bag with a tassel on the end. The front and back panels of crocodile are attached using leather lacing to plain leather side sections, which have a few dark spots near the base. The strap length is adjustable, and it is attached with metal loops. The purse has 3 main compartments, one with a zipper, all lined with leather. This exotic purse is in good, usable condition, with a few flaws on the surface of the skin, the small dark spots on each leather side section and the leather lining which is coming loose at one edge and needs re-gluing (see photos). The natural color and the braided leather trim give it a "rustic" look, which is not detracted from by these minor flaws.
