This black chiffon and lace 1920s evening dress has the tube-shaped silhouette of the later part of the 20s flapper era, with only a slight flare to the skirt below the dropped waist panel over the hips. The sheer, chiffon and lace dress has a surplice neckline, deeply V’ed, that crosses over a higher v-neckline with an under layer of ivory fabric lining the black lace at the top and a plain, lightweight black muslin fabric lining, from the bust to the hem of the dress. The upper back of the dress has a triangular panel of lace that echoes the V neckline at the front of the dress. It has no openings and will have to be (gently!) pulled over the head. This late 1920s dress is in very good condition, fairly sturdy and wearable. There are a few small breaks in the black floral lace (which have been mended) and some wear to the edges of the lace at the arm openings. It should fit approximately a modern size small to medium (with a loose fit--see measurements for more sizing details).
