Description
This sheared Persian lamb jacket with a mink collar has the slightly cropped and boxy shape popular in the early 1960’s (and right now!). The curly lamb fur has been sheared short, giving it almost the look of moiré velvet. The mink collar is soft, fluffy and glamorous, and the large black plastic and rhinestone button adds a bit of sparkle. The jacket has small horizontal pockets near the front hem, and is lined in black silk trimmed with cording at the edges. The lining has an embroidered monogram, “Helen,” which could be removed if desired. The jacket fits approximately like a modern size small, narrowest at the shoulders. It is in excellent condition; the very slight fading of the black color that the (naturally lighter) fur has been dyed is not noticeable, except under our bright photography lights.
