Description
Looking a mini dress that really is mini? Look no further! The lady who made this dress for herself around 1970 was amazed at how short she wore her dresses at the time—but extra-mini is back in style, just in time for this cute little shift dress to look fresh and fabulous again! The hem hits at about mid-thigh on a petite (5 feet 2 inches), and at the upper thigh on our mannequin. The fabric is a burgundy, gold, avocado and turquoise cotton floral. The simple shape has a square neckline and a seam or yoke in front and back, just above the bust, dropping to an A-line skirt. The dress has no openings or fasteners--it just pulls over the head and you’re dressed in 2 seconds! Although it is perfectly fine as a very mini, the dress has a 3-and-a-half-inch hem that could be let down for a bit of additional length. It will be cute worn with just flats or flat sandals, but you could also add leggings if a bit more leg coverage is desired. The dress is in excellent condition.
