Description
Known for her imaginative creations, Elsa Schiaparelli was a designer who took risks, and made fashion into art: truly fabulous (and collectible!) clothing and accessories. These Schiaparelli sunglasses from the 1950’s might seem a bit over the top—but why not? They are made of alternating layers of ivory and black plastic, with spectacular flower petals on the corners of the frames and on the sides of the arms. They have their original green glass lenses in great condition, with very minor surface scuffs. Although the edge of one petal has broken off (on the left-eye side), it is not that noticeable. The sunglasses are wonderful, wearable, and a great collector’s item by Schiaparelli, in very good condition. They will fit best on a small head size (check the measurements for more size information).
