Description
Simple and simply elegant, this late 1940's cocktail dress is strapless, made of black faille trimmed on the bodice with black velvet. The boned bodice comes to a "V" in the front at the waistline, and the full skirt is softly gathered below, creating a graceful, flowing shape. The dress is unlined, with a side metal zipper. Its only flaw is in the bodice seams, which have been pulled a bit(see pic). The camera reacted oddly to the texture of the faille, as you can see in some of the photos, but the dress has no other visible flaws than these pulled seams. It is lovely and ready for its next occasion!
