Description
This 2-piece swimsuit from the 1960’s is absolutely adorable! Made of white cotton piqué with contrasting black trim and embroidery, the cross over bikini top and hipster shorts have cute scalloped edges. The top has built-in nylon cups, an elastic back strap with a hook and three buttonholes for the strap buttons to adjust their length. The elastic in the back strap has yellowed a tiny bit, visible only on the inside of the strap. The bottoms fit at about belly-button height, and are fully lined with an elastic-legged white cotton panty hidden under the shorts. They close with a back zipper, and are a bit small for our mannequin (won’t zip all the way up on her, poor girl!). Although the bathing suit has no label or tags, it appears unworn (washed once by us), in excellent condition, with one very faint, tiny mark near the hem of the shorts.
