This vintage 1950s or early 1960s frame handbag has shiny black patent piping trimming its textured black fabric in curving lines. The metal frame is also covered in black patent vinyl, as well as the single top handle. The purse has a tall, hinged clasp and it is lined with black fabric. The two slip pockets inside are lined with contrasting gold fabric—cute detail! It could work well for day or evening since it is small to medium size, and the black fabric could read more towards the formal side, since it is a bit shiny. This mid century handbag is in excellent condition, with no flaws to note.
