Waist: measures 24” flat to fit approx. 23”
An authentic 1950s circle skirt in charcoal grey wool, this darling 50s full skirt is decorated with abstract floral designs in peachy pink and ivory embroidery. The charcoal wool flannel is very soft and fairly lightweight with a somewhat loose weave--almost like a sweater in feel, but without stretch to the fabric. Shown here with a crinoline underneath, the skirt is very full, a true vintage circle skirt. Worn without the crinoline, the skirt will appear less full, falling into soft folds. (The crinoline is not included—although we do sell them—just ask for more info!) The skirt fastens with a metal side zipper and hooks and eyes at the waistband. It is unlined. It is in very good to excellent condition; it appears that the hooks and eyes at the waistband may have been moved slightly, which has a left tiny snags/holes on the surface of the wool, in their original location (see close up photo of waistband). This junior or teen size 50s circle skirt has no other issues, but it is quite a small size, so please check the waist measurement carefully.
