This holiday-party-ready, black velvet and off-white faux fur 1950s cocktail hat with veil is fit for a festive “snow maiden”! A flat-crowned pillbox or beret style, the hat can be worn flat on top of the head, or tilted forward, as shown, with the black chin-length veil adding an air of mystery and elegance! A metallic embroidered flower trims one side of the furry outer edge, for extra sparkle! The hat has a triangle of velvet-covered metal wire on each side, to help hold it onto the head, and the black rayon velvet crown is layered over a stiff base of black taffeta. In very good condition, this festive 1950s hat has a few tiny breaks in the dainty veiling, which should not be terribly noticeable when it is worn (zoom in on front-view photo).
