This 1950s black lace and satin corselette with stretch nylon side panels is a classic vintage foundation garment, designed to function as both “bullet” bra and girdle, as well as having clips for your stockings. The center front lace panel fastens with a zipper from waist to hip, over hooks and eyes that fasten underneath, from hip to neckline. The lace and satin bra cups and center front panel are lined with palest peach nylon mesh to create a “nude” look. The center back panel is made of plain, shiny, black nylon satin, with stretchy mesh above it, and on each side, for a perfect fit. The adjustable straps are lace-covered black satin, except for the back, where they split into two elastic straps. The stocking clip straps were elastic, originally, but have lost most of their stretch—although the metal and plastic clips are still functional for attaching to your stockings. This authentic vintage 1950s corselette (or corselet, depending on your spelling preference) is in very good condition: the no-longer stretchy stocking suspenders and one small pick in the nylon panel on the left side are its only issues. It fits approximately like a modern size 34C bra, although it is unlabeled. Please contact us if you have any questions about fit and we will be happy to help.
