This 1950s day dress is made of bright, abstract floral print cotton in dark and lime green, aqua and white. The cap-sleeved bodice has an easy, slightly loose fit, gently shaped with bust darts, and a round neckline. The waist is cinched with a matching fabric belt. The full, flared skirt has no pleats, for a clean and flattering line. The dress fastens with a metal zipper in the side seam. Labeled as a vintage "half size", the dress is definitely a plus size, but also a petite, so please check the measurements carefully. It is NOS ("New-Old Stock"), sometimes called deadstock vintage, and has never been worn. This sweet 50s dress in excellent to mint condition; the cotton fabric is crisp and bright, with its original fabric finish. Versatile 1950s cotton dresses like this one can go from a day at the office to a night out with ease and are comfortable on the even hottest summer days--as well as on cooler days with the addition of a cute vintage cardigan.
