1950s sleeveless blouse and jacket yellow cotton | S-M

1950s Clothing

This yellow ribbed cotton, early 1950s sleeveless blouse and swingy jacket set is simply adorable! The blouse has deeply cut armholes (giving it a shape like a vest or waistcoat), a small collar, bust and waist darts for shaping, a notched hem in front and back, and a button front opening. The matching jacket has small shoulder pads, a rounded collar, short, cuffed sleeves, faux patch pockets and a loose fit, gently flaring outward from bust to hem. The cutest jacket detail: 2 real corks for buttons! Both pieces are unlined, made of medium-weight ribbed cotton. The set appears deadstock/unworn, in excellent to mint condition, with some writing on the labels as the only issue to note. This 1950s blouse and jacket will be casually chic paired with your favorite summer capri pants, shorts or skirts.
