This beautifully made 1960s linen ladies’ double-breasted suit jacket has a fabulous flower print: tulips and daisies in a colorful and large-scale floral. The jacket is cropped, falling to just below the natural waist, and somewhat boxy in fit, with princess seaming from the bust to the hem for subtle shaping. It has a v-neckline with a collar and three-quarter-length sleeves. The jacket closes with two rows of large, white shell buttons (one row is functional and the other is decorative), bound buttonholes and two covered snaps. The lining fabric is a lovely, mint green silk. A couture-quality detail, the jacket lining has weights hidden under it, one at each side seam. The high-quality linen fabric is crisp and bright and the jacket is in excellent to mint condition. It will look great with everything from a cocktail dress, to a pencil skirt, to jeans!
