Go-go-festive this holiday season, in this 1960s minidress of black rayon velvet and gold metallic ribbon trim! Styled like a tunic, the mini dress has bracelet-length, straight sleeves, and generally straight silhouette, with diagonal bust darts to shape the upper bodice. The high Nehru-style collar and front bodice are trimmed with bands of satin ribbon in a woven pink, blue, and off-white paisley pattern, edged with loops of gold metallic braid and further embellished with gold knot, decorative buttons. The lightweight rayon velvet fabric is unlined, except for the collar, and backed with taffeta. The dress hem ends at mid-thigh on our mannequin, but will be a bit lower on a petite person. It fastens in back with a metal zipper. This youthful and fun 1960s mini is in very good condition, with one minor issue: some fading to the black rayon faille fabric lining of the collar, which will not be seen when the dress is worn.
