For anyone who values fabulousness over fastidiousness—this is the novelty print for you! The late 1950s or early 1960s novelty print blouse features a glamorous lady in her polka dot lounging pajamas, wearing extravagant fake eyelashes, smoking through an extra long cigarette holder, and calmly surveying by her messy-but-fascinating array of possessions. On the black of the shirt, the same design is repeated, with addition of the text: “Next week I’ll get organized!” The three-quarter-sleeve blouse is made of lightweight, off-white, poly-cotton blend fabric, with the design printed in orange and black (and blond!) It has turned-up cuffs, a notched collar, and small, covered buttons down the front. The blouse should have a somewhat boxy fit when worn, so please bear this in mind when checking the measurements. It is labeled a vintage size 16, or approximately a modern size medium, depending on your bust and hip measurements. In very good condition, the blouse has one tiny, faintly yellowed spot, and another one, slightly larger (see close-up photos). We have not attempted to spot treat the marks, just carefully laundered the blouse. A careful hand with spot remover may improve them, but they do blend into the busy pattern somewhat, and should not really detract from the amazing design, when this fun, vintage novelty print blouse is worn!
