Size: 28” by 28” (large square)
Material: lightweight twilled silk
This large square 1960s silk scarf by designer Schiaparelli has a jewel-toned pattern that resembles stained glass, a mosaic, or perhaps a traditional quilt pattern, with interlocking star shapes. The twilled silk has a background of creamy, pale yellow, with interlocking star-shaped designs in olive green, bright aqua, dark and light purple, and that signature Schiaparelli shade, shocking pink. The larger-sized square shape can be worn folded and tied several ways, as shown--including as a triangular top for summer! The scarf has hand-rolled edges in olive green. It is in very good condition, with a small, dark mark near one edge, as seen in our close-up photo.
