This Mad Men-era ladies’ 1960s suit has three pieces, a jacket, blouse or shell, and pencil skirt, all made of medium-weight bouclé wool.  The jacket and skirt are a warm camel color and the contrasting sleeveless blouse is ivory. The blouse has a cute, notched hem that ends right at the natural waist, just barely overlapping the skirt waistband. It is lined in ivory taffeta and has darts for shaping. The blouse fastens in back with a row of buttons. The jacket has faux pocket flaps and a trompe l'oeil belt, actually fastening with two snaps in front. The decorative gold metal buttons have bound buttonholes. It has three-quarter-length sleeves and is fully lined. The straight pencil skirt is approximately knee-length with a narrow waistband, fastening with two hook closures and plastic zipper in its side seam. It is also fully lined. All three pieces are in excellent to mint condition, appearing unworn. This 60s skirt suit is a great ensemble made up of pieces that will also work well worn on their own: the skirt with a fitted sweater, perhaps, and the jacket would look nice worn with pants and a fitted top.
