This rust-colored flecked tweed wool ladies vest or waistcoat reminds us so much of Diane Keaton’s costumes as “Annie Hall” in film of the same name, from 1977. The vest buttons in front and has small, welted front pockets. Vertical darts shape the bust and waist slightly, and the buckle at the back of the waist can be used to cinch it smaller or make it a bit larger. The buckle strap matches the lightweight satin fabric of the back panel, which is most likely acetate. This fabric is also used for the lining of the wool front section. In excellent condition, this vest will pair well with lots of items already in your closet: turtlenecks, blouses, even t-shirts. Or, you could add a white shirt and necktie, for the full “Annie Hall” look!
