This made in Germany black leather motorcycle jacket dates to sometime in the mid to late 80s. The soft black leather is stamped all over with “DKNY”—although the jacket has no DKNY labels, so perhaps this was done by the original owner. The buttons of the jacket also look to have been customized, since they are a bit more shiny/flashy than the buttons I would typically expect to see on a men’s motorcycle jacket of this era. The lower side sections of the jacket have grommets for lacing, but the laces have been removed; they could easily be replaced. The jacket has front slit pockets and one inner chest pocket as well. The black polyester/viscose blend taffeta lining has a fairly large mend near the back of the neck area, which will not be seen when the jacket is worn, obviously. This unusual black leather 80s motorcycle jacket is a unisex style, which should fit best on a men’s size large or ladies’ size XL—but please see the measurements for more details about size and fit. It is in good, totally wearable condition, with the mend to the lining, the replaced buttons, and some scuffs to the surface of the leather from normal wear as its only issues.
