This patchwork leather handbag from the 1980s is made of an unusual material: frog skin. Made in the Philippines, the frog skin bag combines the cream, grey, and ivory, natural-colored skins in a patchwork design, with decorative zigzag stitching. The boxy handbag has two narrow top handles, is it is slightly wider at the base than at the top opening, with rounded corners. A wide flap covers the magnetic snap closure. The bag is lined with black polyester jersey fabric, with a single slip pocket. The unusual skin is very soft and it appears to be a high quality leather handbag. It is in excellent to mint condition, appearing unused. The color variations seen in the skins are natural to the speckled material, not a flaw.
