This timeless classic knit winter hat in a “beanie” or toque style dates from circa the 1960s or 70s. The fuzzy aqua wool will be warm and cozy! Hand knit, the hat has a ribbed opening, and a decorative herringbone pattern in the knit at the top section of the crown. I have also shown the hat with the lower edge cuffed up, as another style option. In very good condition, the only issue to note with this hand-knit 1960s ladies’ cap is that the lower edge/head opening is finished with 2 different colors of yarn—intentional, but worth noting.
Crown height: 8” laid flat, unstretched and uncuffed. Height above head will depend on how low it is pulled down when worn.
Inner circumference: head opening is 15” flat and unstretched. Will stretch up to 22” maximum.
