This authentic 1920s chain and rhinestone headband is a classic flapper-style accessory that is actually 100 years old! A double row of snake-style metal chains holds a row of prong-set clear rhinestones. The prong-set stones have closed back settings in the same brass-colored metal as the chains. The headband is somewhat flexible, to allow it to curve around the head when worn. Wear this headband across the brow as the 1920s ladies would have done, or further back on your head as a more typical headband—I have shown it both ways in the photos. Originally worn with elastic, ribbons, or hairpins attaching it to the head, you can add whichever you choose using the small metal rings at each end. In very good condition, this antique 1920s headband has some tarnish/color change to the metal chains, but no other issues to note. This true vintage flapper headpiece would be a lovely headband for a bride, or other formal event—especially if it is 1920s-themed!
