Size: 2” tall by 1” wide with 1.25” pin back
Label: House of Borvani (HOBCO)
This 1960s novelty pin is a baby lion brooch—how cute is that? This particular design by House of Borvani can be dated to 1966 by the copyright stamp n the back of the brooch. The heavy, gold-toned metal is set with tiny clear rhinestones for his whiskers, green stones for his eyes, and a red one for his nose. Although animal novelty pins were popular from the 1940s to the 1960s, this little guy is an extra-adorable version, in excellent condition.
