This big, bold necklace and earrings set, circa late 1970s, pairs moonglow-white, mother-of-pearl beads with a shell-shaped, large pendant and matching fan-shaped earrings, made of carved natural shell. The iridescent natural shell material varies in color from pearly white to grey and soft brown, a range of neutrals that will pair well with many looks. The beachy, shell-inspired shapes and summery colors will work well with summer dresses, or Hawaiian / tiki styles, but will look equally striking against darker colors like black and brown—truly a versatile jewelry set! The multiple strands of small, mother-of-pearl beads are twisted together to form the “chain” for the large pendant, and come together in back with gold metal bead caps and a gold metal “snap” clasp. The clip-on earrings will curve around the lower part of the earlobes when worn, shown best in our last photo, where they are clipped on to the earring stand. In excellent condition, with no flaws to note, this beach-holiday-ready 70s necklace set will bring on the summery, island vibes, wherever and whenever you choose to wear it!
