This late 1950s dress is made of natural beige linen with lovely, multicolored, silk floral embroidery. The silhouette of the dress is gently shaped with darts at the bust waist and hips, with a straight skirt and short sleeves. The skirt has been shortened about 1.5 inches from its original length, but the hem could easily be let back down, if desired. The dress fastens in front with a row of real shell buttons from the notched collar to the hem. The attached, self-fabric belt hooks closed in front and is embellished with a small bow. The dress is fully lined in beige silk organza. It is in excellent condition. This authentic vintage dress is wonderfully feminine and beautifully made, of high quality materials.
