This bias-cut 1940s nightgown in pale blue rayon satin is trimmed with darling, circular eyelet lace, crisscrossing across the flattering, gathered bust. A double row of the same eyelet lace forms the wide straps. The nightgown has a V-neckline both in front and in back and the waist can be cinched in with the attached ties. It will have a slinky, elegant fit, due to the bias-cut fabric. In very good condition, this true vintage, 1940s nightgown has a few faint marks on the shiny surface of the satin, which are unlikely to visible when it is worn. We have tried to photograph the most noticeable one; the others were too faint even to show up in our close-up photos. The ice blue color would make this a wonderful something old and something blue for a vintage bride!
