This sailor-inspired, black and white striped 70s jumpsuit has extra wide, bellbottom legs in plain black double knit polyester, with a flattering vertical seam up the center front of each leg. The tromp l’oeil “2-piece” bodice is actually just 2 attached layers, in opposite colorways of black and white horizontal stripes. The long-sleeved outer layer ties in front over the sleeveless front panel underneath. This outer layer has a large, pointed collar, and three-quarter-length sleeves with cute, black and white striped buttons at the cuffs. The double-knit polyester fabric has just a bit of stretch—see measurements. The jumpsuit fastens in back with a plastic zipper, and it is unlined. The waist seam is just slightly higher than the typical natural waist—great for a petite! This stylish 1970s jumpsuit has a comfortable and flattering shape, somewhat inspired by 1930s beach pajamas, with their wide legs and a slightly long rise/dropped crotch. It is in excellent condition.
