This black floral with butterflies print 1970s jumpsuit has a sexy, draped halter neckline and wide, bellbottom legs. The lightweight, polyester jersey knit has a slinky feel, and drapes nicely. The triangle cups of the front bodice are draped where they meet the wide, fitted, high waistband. They are also gathered and adjusted by sliding up and down on the halter tie, to change the amount of coverage in front. The raised waist panel extends from just below the bust to just above the natural waist. The wide pant legs are slightly gathered where the meet this high waist seam. The back of the bodice has elastic to help keep it in place, at approximately the mid-back. A plastic zipper fastens the left side seam, and the halter tie can be adjusted in length, as you prefer. The jumpsuit has a slightly long rise/dropped crotch, making the pant inseam length seem a bit shorter than its actual length (see measurements); you can use the outseam, or outer leg measurement from waist to hem, to compare to a pant that you already own. The black and white floral print is accented with several kinds of colorful butterflies. In excellent to mint condition, this fabulous disco-era 70s halter jumpsuit appears never worn. Ursula of Switzerland is generally known for her more conservative formal dresses, but this is one of her earlier, sexier designs!
