Description
This black floral print polyester jersey 70s bellbottom jumpsuit dates from the early part of the decade. The sleeveless, scoop neck bodice has a blouson fit, the slight fullness from bust to waist gathered into the fitted waist seam. The slinky polyester jersey skims over the hips, then flaring wide from just above the knees to the hem. The jumpsuit closes in back with a plastic zipper. The bodice section only is lined in black acetate taffeta. In very good condition, this flower power fabulous early 1970s jumpsuit has one issue to note: fading that gradually changes the brighter purple flowers of the print on the bodice to a pinkish mauve at the hem. This subtle fading has an almost ombré quality, occurring gradually from top to bottom, and only visible on the purple parts of the print.
