Description
This double-breasted style, deadstock black 1960s cardigan sweater is made of soft orlon acrylic yarn in 2 textures: a chunky ribbed knit all over, and a contrasting zigzag pattern at the front button placket. One set of pearly white buttons is functional, and the other is merely decorative. The three-quarter-length sleeves and fitted hem are both finished with ribbed knit bands. The fitted hem will sit between the natural waist and hips when the sweater is worn, giving it a slightly blouson silhouette, as shown. The medium weight knit will be great for spring and fall. The cardigan is unlined. It is in excellent to mint condition, unworn with it is original price tag still attached. This 1960s cardigan sweater is a true black shade, but I have lightened some of the photos to better show details.
