This 1960s floral-embroidered fringed shawl in black silk crepe was purchased in Sevilla, Spain, probably as a souvenir form a fabulous trip! It was never worn and still has its original tag attached. The pink, red, yellow and green silk floss flowers are embroidered around the hem of the triangular shawl, above the braided silk fringe (2.5” braided section, above the 9” fringe). The medium-weight silk crepe fabric is crisp to the touch, and unlined. I have shown the shawl pinned with an oval brooch that seemed to match it well--I’d be happy to include it with your purchase! This 1960s fringed shawl is in excellent to mint condition, unworn. The label is from a shop in Sevilla (“Bordados Foronda S.A.”), which still exists, described by their Google listing as a “Traditional store selling embroidered scarves, mantilla headdresses, fans, castanets, combs & more.”
