This mod 1960s mini dress and coat set in black, heavyweight twill weave wool is trimmed with faux curly lamb. The A-line shift dress has tiny cap sleeves, a small stand collar and functional patch pockets with decorative rhinestone buttons. Princess seaming from bust to hem in front gives the dress a bit of shape, but it is designed to have a relatively loose fit. The dress is lined with black taffeta and fastens with a nylon zipper in back. The matching coat, also in heavy wool twill, could be worn on its own as an evening coat, as well as with the dress as a set. The double-breasted coat also has princess seaming in front, with slit pockets set into the seams. It is most fitted through the shoulder and bust area, and a bit more loose fitting from the waist to the hem. The coat has three-quarter-length sleeves and a three-quarter self-belt (on sides and back) to shape the waist. The coat is lined with black acetate satin and fastens in front with rhinestone buttons. There are two decorative buttons on the back of the belt, for even more sparkle! In excellent to mint condition, the only issue with this gorgeous 1960s dress and coat set is that a few of the rhinestones in the buttons have been replaced, after dry-cleaning. (We recommend removing the buttons before cleaning, in future.)
