This deadstock, shiny rayon satin, extra wide 1940s tie has a stylized design of sunflowers in soft blue and dark red. Like many 1940s and earlier ties, this particular tie is rather short, since they were often worn with double-breasted or 3-piece suits, complete with vests or waistcoats. This blue 1940s swing tie is in excellent to mint condition, unworn, with its paper label still attached. (The clock tower emblem on the paper label is really wonderful!)
