Necklace: 14” to 17” adjustable length, 1” wide
Bracelet: 7” long by 1.25” wide
Earrings: 1.5” tall by 1” wide
This 1950s thermoplastic jewelry set or parure has pearly blue leaves in bright silver metal settings, with pearl and rhinestone accents. It is made up of a link choker necklace, wide, chunky link bracelet and clip-on earrings. Each piece of the set can be worn separately, or all together for a seriously accessorized, vintage look! The necklace fastens with a hook and chain clasp, which allows you to adjust its length. The bracelet has a flat, hinged clasp. The large clip earrings are designed to go up the ear when worn, a popular style in the 1950s. The leafy, silver metal settings are open at the back, but are still quite heavy, and they are brightly plated. A small amount of the original glue used to attach the thermoplastic leaves is visible around the edges of the settings, mainly visible from the back side only, on the necklace. It is unlikely to be noticed when the set is worn; it is in very good condition, with no other issues. These thermoplastic sets from the 1950s and 60s are fun to wear, and are becoming more collectible—grab this one while you can!
