This woven rayon 70s shoulder bag epitomizes the groovy hippie or boho style of the late 1960s to the mid 70s. Purchased as a souvenir on a long-ago trip to Greece, it appears unused—perhaps intended as a gift, and then never given? The bold colors of coral, royal blue, and white are used in a traditional woven pattern of “Greek key” and stripe designs. The twisted “rope” shoulder strap extends down the sides of the bag, to end in 2 tassels at the base. The woven rayon fabric feels similar in weight to heavy wool, and it is unlined. This casual 70s shoulder bag is large enough to carry your everyday essentials, or your beach-cover up and a book!
