This stingy brim, or narrow-brimmed men’s fedora hat by Stetson, circa late 1950s or early 1960s, is a dark chocolate brown in a size 7 ¼. The dark brown wool felt is accented with a wide black grosgrain ribbon band, The hat features a stitched-in leather band inside, with a plastic insert protecting the satin lining. The narrow brim is described by the gold-stamped label on the inner band as a “Stetson Selv-Edge”, with the edge of the brim folded down and attached. In very good condition, the fedora shows some wear to the leather inner band from normal use, and also has one minor flaw in the felt at the center front of the crown--probably where the original owner would regularly grab hold of it to remove it. It is labeled a vintage men’s hat size 7 ¼, but please check the measurements for more sizing information.
