This chocolate brown corduroy 1950s sport shirt has classic mid-century vintage details: a square hem, small loop collar, pleated and buttoned patch pockets, and horizontal buttonholes. The back shoulder yoke is lined with ivory rayon satin, while the rest of the shirt is unlined. The cotton corduroy is a rich dark brown, except for a narrow section along the top of each shoulder which has faded a bit from circa 60 years of storage on a hanger (see close-up photo). This is more noticeable in our photo, with the shoulder area laid flat, than it is when the shirt is worn. This authentic 1950s men’s shirt is in very good condition, with no other flaws to note.
